An unfortunate realization
From now until the end of recorded history, Eddie Murphy's Norbit will be "the Oscar-nominated Norbit." Pending tonight's results, maybe even "the Oscar-winning Norbit."
That makes me a sad panda.
UPDATE: And... it lost to La Vie En Rose.

an Oscar for Norbit would go great with the Razzies it won.

I have a feeling those Razzie wins won't be touted on the DVD box.
And I can't believe I'm at home watching Oscar coverage.

i blame this post for reminding me that it's on. I'm watching it too :(

YOU'RE WELCOME, ABC.
Sorry, Paul. ;)

I hope Once wins for original song.
Next year Rich and I are live blogging this sucker. believe it.

I thought about it, but figured it was pretty pointless without advance notice. That, and I've only seen two of the five Best Picture nominees.

Even though this show is a trainwreck...Marion Cotillard is absolutely stunning...I had no idea.

Guess I should have seen "Way of the Rose" eh?
Did take in "The Savages" the day before just in case. Really ticked I missed "The Assasination of Jess James" and "Sweeney Todd" but this year was absolutely loaded with good movies. Some of my favorites didn't even get nominated in part because the field was so strong.

I really enjoyed both 'Assassination' and 'Sweeney Todd.' Darn good performances in both, though much different.
