"My name is Andrew Bird.... 's Bowl of Fire."

Before he became an indie superstar of sorts, Andrew Bird ventured through Athens in May 2003. That night he played a set opening for Vic Chesnutt that included several songs that later appeared on The Mysterious Production of Eggs. A kind soul has made the set available from the Live Music Archive, and it's a nice peek at what Bird was up to at the time. It's a pretty nice audience recording, and a great document of a rising artist.
