Athens ticket giveaway: 'Control' screening 1/15

This Friday, January 11, Ian Curtis/Joy Division biopic Control opens at Athens Ciné. The film will remain there until Thursday, January 17. To celebrate the film opening in the Classic City, C&T's friends from Buddies Helping Buddies have allowed me to give away a pair of tickets to any screening on Tuesday, January 15 (4:15, 7:15, or 9:45). To be eligible, answer the following question:

In 1976 the members of Joy Division and several other to-be-formed groups witnessed a galvanizing performance by The Sex Pistols in Manchester, England. Where was this gig held?

Send your response to no later than 2pm on Monday, January 14, with "Cable & Tweed/Joy Division" in the subject line. The first correct response wins the tickets, so don't put it off. Winners should hear from Gordon or Mike via e-mail.

Joy Division - Warsaw

Good luck!

meh. I saw "Control" in Atlanta. It was interesting to learn about Joy Division as a band, but at the end I walked out thinking what a selfish indecisive jerk Ian Curtis was.
