Neutral Milk Hotel's Jeff Mangum made a much-rumored appearance at The Knitting Factory in New York City last night, October 11, with the Elephant 6 Holiday Surprise Tour. He shared vocal duties on Olivia Tremor Control's "The Opera House," the first track on that band's Music from the Unrealized Film Script: Dusk at Cubist Castle

I thought show was great and really showcase how talented the collective is. I kinda now understand why jeff doesnt tour much...he seem kinda disturbed.

Will looked like he was peaking on acid....it was kind of strange..but he still performed fine..
