The Mountain Goats - "Sax Rohmer #1"

The Mountain Goats have a new record, Heretic Pride, due on February 19. The 4AD Journal notes that it is "crammed with mythical creatures, imaginary cults and slasher films reveries" and that the first song released from it, "Sax Rohmer #1," is "inspired by the pulp fiction novelist who created the character Fu Manchu." Stereogum also notes that the album will feature guests including Annie Clark (St. Vincent) and Erik Friedlander. Looking forward to it.
