Two Gallants back with new EP, single

The boys from Two Gallants, one of Saddle Creek's core acts, have a new EP due June 19 titled The Scenery of Farewell. If their promo materials are to be believed, it's primarily comprised of acoustic efforts that don't quite fit on their typical output. While these guys can be a little emotastic for me at times, the EP's first single, "Seems Like Home to Me," has a country vein running throughout that I'm digging after a couple listens. Here 'tis:

You can order The Scenery of Farewell from Saddle Creek.

Two Gallants are playing a number of festivals in the near future, then touring with Les Claypool through the month of June. For the Georgia folks, that does include a June 13 stop at Atlanta's Variety Playhouse (buy tix). Full dates on their Myspace.
