The Last Town Chorus

On September 8-9, Atlanta and Athens will be graced with a total of four appearances by Brooklyn's The Last Town Chorus -- two Borders in-stores and two sets opening for Mark Olson from The Jayhawks. Holy crap. I hope they have an AAA membership and healthy supplies of deodorant and toothpaste.

Whether they're coming to your city or not, it's worth checking out some material from Wire Waltz. Much of it is moody and haunting, with the Village Voice describing them as "audio narcotics." I can see why.
