Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin - "Glue Girls"

Welcome news in from Pitchfork, who report that Springfield, Missouri, indie popsters Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin have a new album titled Pershing due on April 8. Their debut, Broom, was a lo-fi gem. I'm hoping for more of the same on their first record for Polyvinyl. The first single certainly demonstrates more production than their self-released material, reminding me quite a bit of Rogue Wave's recent work.

For more on the band, see their official site or Myspace. Several midwestern dates are available at Pitchfork, and they'll be at SXSW on March 14.
