Miwa Gemini touring, Athens 2/9 and Atlanta 2/10

Brooklyn's Miwa Gemini is hitting the road and finding her way to both Athens (this Saturday, 2/9) and Atlanta (Sunday, 2/10). Miwa is an emerging singer-songwriter of the indie folk variety. She's sometimes dreamy and sometimes raucous, but consistently enjoyable. Athens paper Flagpole noted that "Miwa's airy vocal draws comparisons to Bjork, Nina Simone, Tom Waits, and Patsy Cline," and I'd believe it. You can purchase either of her albums online.
