Well, that's shameless

NBC's Heroes has been a bit better lately, in my humble opinion, but last night it had a particularly groan-inducing moment. At one point Hiro needs guidance on his "hero's quest," so he and Ando wander into the fictional Sam's Comics in Lawrence, Kansas. What did they spot surrounding Sam, portrayed by Seth Green?

Both covers for this year's Hulk #1 and a poster for Captain America: White. The kicker? Both of these books were written by comics scribe Jeph Loeb, who also writes and produces Heroes. Well, he did until three weeks ago when he and fellow writer-producer Jesse Alexander were axed. At least he got to plug his books first.
