Comic movie buzz abounds

Fox has revealed the appearance of The Silver Surfer in the upcoming Fantastic Four sequel:

From USA Today:
With computer-generated imagery techniques similar to those used to create Gollum in The Lord of the Rings, the slippery Surfer, voiced by Doug Jones, "will look somewhere between gun metal and fluid metallics so you can see the body motion, the breathing, the muscle tone, the mood," says Marvel Studios CEO Avi Arad.

Lookin' good. Apparently the trailer will be on before A Night at the Museum this weekend, so hopefully it'll be online soon.

The new Transformers teaser trailer is online, and it looks way better than I imagined.

The website for the Iron Man film has gone live. Not much content, but it's another I'm anticipating. Robert Downey, Jr., should be a fine Tony Stark.

I'm not a big fan of the Fantastic Four film but it got a lot things right though despite completely fucking up Dr. Doom. The sequel sounds epic if they're going to include Galactus and Silver Surfer story lines. I think I also saw a picture of the Fantasticar somewhere too.

I love the casting for Iron Man.

Seen the trailer for Grindhouse yet? Looks..interesting.

I think i'm going to watch the new Rocky movie tomorrow. Have you seen these Q&A Sly did with They're hilarious and he's completely honest with a lot of subjects. I spent like an entire night just reading these. Here's one part of I think like 20 editions of questions from talkbackers of the site:

Agree on the F4 film... wasn't great. They did an awful job with Doom in just about every way. I don't have super high hopes for the sequel, but it's good to see the Surfer in the mix.

Grindhouse looks very, very cool. But I'm a total sucker for the Rodriguez/Tarantino stuff.

Haven't seen the stuff on AICN lately, or that Q&A with Stallone. I'll try to give it a look soon.
