A little Batman for the wee ones

While we adults have been watching The Dark Knight and eating up Heath Ledger's Joker, the kids have been a little left out. Have no fear, though, as Cartoon Network will begin airing the Batman: The Brave and the Bold cartoon on November 14.

The first trailer was released this week, and I'm happy to see it includes both classic DC characters (e.g., Plastic Man, Black Canary, old school Green Arrow) and newer ones (e.g., personal favorite Jaime Reyes, the new Blue Beetle). This show promises to be more fun than other recent incarnations of Batman, and there won't be a psychopathic clown in sight.
