Summerbirds & The Bomb @ Smith's, Fri., 2/16

Along with the show at The EARL, this Friday night there is also a nice event at Smith's Olde Bar in Atlanta. Four regional bands will play an ASCAP showcase curated by The Devil Stole the Beat. The names that stand out for me are the first two acts -- Orlando/Athens band Summerbirds in the Cellar and Murfreesboro's How I Became the Bomb. The former is a favorite of C&T buddy Michelle, and if you've been reading here the past few months you should be intimately familiar with The Bomb. Because I effing love them.
