Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin - "With a Girl Like You" (Troggs cover)

You have to dig a little deeply on the Variety Playhouse website to find this info, but Missouri indie popsters Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin are back in Atlanta on March 24. For better or worse, they're the first band on a bill with Cinematics and Mute Math. After I had to miss their set with Harry and The Potters, I'm hoping to catch this one... then jet over to The EARL to see Bishop Allen. It's been more than a year now since I've seen SSLYBY, and that stinks.

Here's a fun tidbit -- at their recent Orlando show taped by C&T buddy breathmint, SSLYBY covered the classic Troggs tune "With a Girl Like You." Here's their cover and the original:

Per usual when I mention these guys, here's "Oregon Girl" from Broom, courtesy of Polyvinyl:

This will be it for the day unless something big comes up. Hope to see some folks at Lenny's tonight.
